Breanne Woods, with some help from Hyperacusis Central, has created the Hyperacusis Wall of Remembrance, dedicated to those whose lives were altered by hyperacusis, and who are no longer with us.
One of those is our beloved founder, Bryan Pollard, who died nearly three years ago and whose tireless and pioneering work for the benefit of hyperacusis patients created an entirely new diagnosis in the field.
Thank you, Breanne, for recognizing the importance of acknowledging the lives of those who, in some cases, have been affected so severely by hyperacusis that they have taken their own lives. May they rest in peace and silence.
